By creating an account or using any part of the SpeakEvo platform at speakevo.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use SpeakEvo.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of SpeakEvo after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify you of material changes by email.
SpeakEvo is an AI-powered English communication coaching platform designed for non-native English speakers in professional and technology settings. The platform provides lessons, vocabulary games, AI dialog practice, a rephrase coach, meeting and presentation simulators, and related tools.
AI features are powered by the AI service provider. SpeakEvo acts as the operator of these AI features and is responsible for how they are configured and used within the platform.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for:
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. Accounts may not be transferred to another person without our written consent.
SpeakEvo offers a permanent free tier that includes lessons, vocabulary games, spaced repetition review, progress tracking, and the activities guide. These features are available without payment and without a time limit.
The Pro plan ($10 USD per 30-day period) unlocks AI-powered features: dialog practice, the rephrase coach, meeting and presentation simulators, Search and Learn, and AI vocabulary mnemonics.
Pro is currently activated manually. To upgrade, you email us at info@speakevo.com with your account email and subject line "Pro upgrade". We activate Pro within 24 hours on weekdays. Pro access is valid for 30 days from activation.
Pro is not an auto-renewing subscription. To continue Pro access after 30 days, you must pay again. We will notify you by email before your Pro period expires if you have provided a valid email address.
Refunds are available within 48 hours of activation if you have not used any Pro features. After that period, no refund is available for the current 30-day period.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, without prior notice and without refund.
SpeakEvo uses AI to generate lesson content, dialog responses, rephrasing suggestions, and other outputs. We make reasonable efforts to ensure these outputs are accurate, helpful, and appropriate.
However, AI-generated content may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or contextually inappropriate. SpeakEvo does not warrant the accuracy of AI-generated outputs and is not liable for decisions made based on them.
You are responsible for evaluating AI-generated feedback and suggestions before applying them in professional contexts.
SpeakEvo and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by SpeakEvo and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of any content you submit (such as sentences submitted to the Rephrase Coach). By submitting content, you grant SpeakEvo a limited, non-exclusive licence to process that content to provide the service. We do not use your content to train AI models.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our service without explicit written permission.
SpeakEvo is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SpeakEvo and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of earnings, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the platform.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of SpeakEvo shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim.
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at info@speakevo.com. On deletion, your personal data will be removed from our systems within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms. In cases of non-egregious violations, we will attempt to notify you before termination.
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through direct communication with us at info@speakevo.com.
